Use these steps to process a normal credit or PIN debit transaction on a supported Dejavoo terminal.
Process the Sale
- Select or confirm Sale on the terminal.
- Enter the transaction amount.
- Present the card using the available method, such as chip, tap, or swipe.
- For PIN debit, have the cardholder enter their PIN directly on the terminal or PIN pad.
- Review and confirm any amount or fee prompts displayed.
- Wait for the final Approved or Declined response.
- Complete the receipt option when prompted.
Contact Support If
- The transaction does not return a final result.
- The terminal and transaction records show different results.
- A duplicate transaction appears.
- Multiple cards fail to process.
Important: Do not retry a transaction with an unknown result until its status has been verified. Never ask for or handle the cardholder's PIN.
