Process a True Cash Discount Sale

Use these steps when the terminal is configured for True Cash Discount.

Process the Sale

1. Enter the transaction amount.
2. Select Card or Cash when prompted.
3. If Card is selected, choose the permitted card type, such as credit or PIN debit.
4. Complete any server or tip prompts when applicable.
5. Present the card or record the cash payment.
6. Review the final transaction total.
7. Confirm the receipt matches the selected payment method and displayed total.

Contact Support If

• The terminal displays Dual Pricing instead of True Cash Discount.
• The Card or Cash selection does not appear.
• The receipt total does not match the terminal screen.
• The displayed pricing does not match the expected merchant program.

Important: Do not manually change transaction amounts or program labels to imitate the expected pricing.
